The Jaguar MK2 was built to that magical Lyons philosophy of Grace, Space and Pace - and according to many enthusiasts, was the definitive car to purport it. It was affordable too, opening up the fast executive saloon for a wider audience than ever, without skimping on its beautiful aesthetics. As a result, it became a familiar sight across the UK - and for many, it is just as iconic as the E-type.
This particular example underwent a comprehensive restoration back in 1991, which included fitting completely reconditioned 3.4 running gear. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the new chrome wire wheels to the fully restored grey leather upholstery, and it was clearly done to a high standard, too, as its holding up beautifully.
